LIAA 2nd Review: Excellent!

The LIAA project has successfully passed its 2nd review.
On May 11th, the LIAA consortium presented the current results of the project to the EC representatives. The focus in this review was on presenting the intended workflow of designing, configuring and running hybrid workplaces, and showing how the LIAA Software modules are used in the workflow steps.

The seventh edition of the European Robotics Forum will take place in Ljubljana, Slovenia from the 21st till the 23rd of March 2016 (www.erf2016.eu). Within this context the 3rd Workshop on Hybrid Production Systems will take place on March 23rd (14:00-15:30 CET, Room 3).
This workshop is dedicated to research projects with the focus on Human-Robot-Collaboration. LIAA will participate at the workshop with one presentation in the field of safety technologies.

European robotics Forum was held in Vienna, Austria from March 11-13, 2015. The sixth edition of this event was a meeting point for not less than 350 scientists, companies and robotics officials from the European Commission.

On Wednesday, the 18th, and Thursday the 19th of February, the LIAA consortium met at Opel for the 4th General Assembly in Rüsselsheim, Germany.
At this meeting, first prototypes of the LIAA work packages were presented to the entire consortium. This was followed by group works discussing the future plans and ToDOs for each work package. Finally, the exhibits and timetable for the Automatica2016 were presented and discussed.
