Founded in 1990 Dresden Elektronik Ingenieurtechnik GmbH is a leading provider of industrial electronic products and a full service provider for development, serial production and test of industrial electronic devices and systems. The company offers different radio modules for wireless solutions in accordance with the IEEE 802.15.4 standard for ZigBee/6LoWPAN applications.

Dresden Elektronik is situated in the capital of Saxony, an important European location of semiconductor industry and information technology. Due to constant growth, the company moved to its new, larger manufacturing building in Dresden Reick in 2009.
